Prehistory

ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) is also known as LPR (License Plate) and ALPR (Automatic LPR), which appeared in the early 90s of the last century. The history shows that IRA secretly installed a very large bomb in central London and it blew up, resulting in the death of one man, was lucky that it was a day off; otherwise the victims would have been much greater than in the towers of the World Trade Center in New York. Such incidents are commonly seen in the history of IRA. As a result, the UK government has set the task of leading corporations to offer any solutions to prevent similar incidents. The first commercial system began to be sold by Racal in 1994, and by 1996 the UK's biggest anti-terrorist system operated ANPR. By 1999, all 43 UK police units can be equipped with ANPR, and by 2002, other police departments around the world have started using ANPR in their efforts to maintain social order (Schonberg, 2000, Pp 56-78).What is ANPR?

In absolute terms ANPR is the ability to capture alphanumeric license plate Car provide a clear readout and interfacing with a computer, allowing you to manually or automatically compare these numbers with multiple databases, both local and nationwide. There are two ways to implement such a fixed number, is very simple - it has optical character recognition of each letter / number of the plate (just as the fax reads the data) and providing for their approximate values. The second, more complicated way is to use a neural network that allows every room to establish consistent and provides a more authentic reading (Goode, 2004, Pp 45-67).Evasion Techniques

Vehicle owners have used a variety of techniques to try to evade ANPR systems. One method is to increase the reflective properties of the letters, thus increasing the probability that the system is not able to locate the registration or produce enough contrast level to achieve read. This can be typically done using a front license plate or spray coating the plate, although there are doubts about the efficiency of the latter.  Thus, most jurisdictions covers all the illegal acts under the existing law, but there are various countries where no particular law is made to reject the aerosols usage. However, if ANPR system is unable to read the license plate notified through an audible ...
