Introduction

Company Overview

Meta Tech Laboratory is located outside Arlington and is a newly started organization in the field of science and technology in the United States and initiated its operations on June 22, 2011. It has by scope one of the largest laboratory in the Midwest. The multipurpose laboratory is being led by Kenneth Isaac John who is also one of the directors of the company. Meta tech maintains a very broad kind of portfolio in environmental sustainability, renewable energy, energy storage, national security and the basic science research. It is also a part of the highly expanding Virginia Research and Technology advisory commission.

Meta Tech laboratory is located on 100 acres, west of Arlington, Virginia, near the Arlington West Mountain. Meta Tech basically has five main areas of focus which includes, protecting the national security, develop better ways in which to manage the problems related to environment, enhancement of the energy sources on national level, operations related to national scientific facilities, and finally to conduct the basic science research.

Meta Tech Major Initiatives planned for the next five years

Meta Tech laboratory right now is standing at the brink of some major opportunities in order to achieve the vision which was set by Steven Chu, Energy Secretary of the United States of America, which is to build an economy that is based on completely renewable source of energy with a large reduction in its production of carbon foot prints, and free from the dependency on foreign oil. In order to achieve this path, the vision of the organization is set through a very strong linkage between the engineering and applied research with the basic research - all the areas in which Meta Tech excels.

Meta Tech in the coming five years will be pursuing six major initiatives that will be able to support the energy department research goals which are basically to create transformational and innovative solutions related to the national scientific challenges. These major initiatives have the goal which inspires and also will keep Mata Tech at the forefront of engineering excellence and scientific discoveries. The six major initiatives include,

Efficiency and Alternative energy

This includes the development of an alternative source of fuel and in order to improve the systems of transportation, developing an optimized engine. To accelerate the transition towards an alternative energy source, it requires significant improvements in the devices, processes, chemicals, and materials used for it. For the production of a more cost effective source of energy, Meta Tech is mainly focused on research related to renewable energy.
