Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to provide critique or explanation of the leave policy in terms of effective employee relations. For any company it is necessary that if it wants to maintain proper relationships with the employees then it is necessary that its leave policy should be supportable for the employees. A proper and relaxed leave policy is essential for any organization in order to satisfy its employees.

A. Policy

According to his leave policy, it is employee's right that can avail the leaves according to the government rules and regulations. The office of personnel management will have the right to make all the leave requests. In order to get the approval of anticipated leaves, it is necessary for the employees that they should apply in advance.

B. Annual leave.

According to this, it is the right of employees to avail annual leaves. It is necessary for employees to avail annual leaves in advance except for the emergency. The annual leaves can be approved in a timely manner (Cunha, 2007). It is employee's responsibility to plan his annual leaves. It is necessary for the employees that if they want to avail leaves for more than 5 days then they should apply for it before February 15; else the leaves will not be entertained.

Leave policy gives workers the opportunity to take time off work to exercise a political mandate. Any private sector worker may, in compliance with the conditions developed below, take a leave policy. During the leave policy, workers are entitled to be absent from work while maintaining their normal pay to fulfill their mandate or function, except in the case of the mandate or function of mayor, alderman , chairman or member of any office of a district council or chairman of a public welfare. ...
