Introduction

Learning is critically important in all human beings and understanding your individual learning style is a key for effective learning. It is the direction each individual absorbs, understands and employs information. Learning styles are cognitive, and affective and physiological features that serve as indicators are relatively stable and help students to perceive and respond to their learning environments. There are three main types of learning styles: auditory, visual and kinesthetic (Mumford, 1982).
