Recalling Excellence

Time is money! Indeed a true statement it is when you know it is precious and you just have to make right decisions at the right time. Here I would like to quote my experience that changed my perception completely. I remember, I was freshly passed out my college when one day while crossing the road I witnessed something. It was another bright day of my life and I used to work at workshop as to learn something and spend my time constructively till I join my further studies. I was full of passion and ardor about spending my life the way I always wanted. On one fine morning, I reached the nearby signal to get on the bus. For a change my younger brother was with me whom I had to drop at school. There were so many people at the signal since it was office time. At this time, there is usually large number of people. A night before, I had a severe fight with my younger brother as I thought he was extremely stubborn. We were not talking since then. We arrived at the signal and stood still since the signal was red. Suddenly, there was one old man who was about to cross the road.

There happened some confusion and he took steps to cross the road. Not many people were noticing him and I was among the ones who did notice this thing. He looked perplexed yet he went into the middle of the road and signal got green. People had already crossed the road despite the reminder of my brother I was watching him go. At that time I should have helped him but I took time whether to approach him or not. I got really confused and failed to make timely decision. The moment I realized could drag him to the road side. As I was about to reach him, the bus came and hit him so hard that he jumped high in the air and landed on the nearby car. I was in complete shock as to how to react. All I remember was that I could have helped by timely decision. I lost my consciousness, my younger brother was too upset seeing the man hit and me being unconscious.
