What do I Already Know?

I am very good regarding self-awareness. I am sensitive and open to others who are different. My self-awareness has increased after various group activities. I always approach other people first and introduce myself and easily make them at ease with myself. My colleagues and acquaintance have always found it easy to approach me and ask my help whenever they want. Another essential skill is the Information and communications technology skills which have proved very effective for my studies and broader business context. This skill has developed with the help of the new system of studies and the regular group presentation, information sharing, communications, technology level. This has enhanced my technological skills and has helped me in becoming more tech-savvy. My personal management skills have also developed. Time management and planning, motivating myself and using initiatives have helped me in improving my performance. I utilize my time effectively and make sure that I always arrive 15 minutes early to the lectures, meetings and other activities. I manage my assignments and activities as per a pre-designed time schedule which helps me to complete my tasks beforehand.

My problem solving and decision-making skills have also developed and enhanced throughout the course of my education. Having completed my assignments on different subjects improved my ability to make decisions especially in the business world and how to solutions and how to offer a recommendation. Cognitive skills are essential for any individual (Jung, 2005, pp. 634). Having a sense of belonging, associating, and class group assignment improved my critical thinking, analysis and synthesis. I am an individual with a positive attitude. I recognize everybody as same. This means that when I would be working in teams, and I would be a leader I would not do discrimination, and would treat all my followers equally.

What do I Want to Learn?

In order to become a strong leader, I need to be more persuasive. Absence of this quality means that I have less ability to convince others. People lacking this quality cannot persuade others. One thing that I honestly acknowledge that I lack is the usage of different aids like multimedia and power point presentation and other skills to make a live discussion session lively and engaging. When it comes to participation and expressing my opinion, I found myself quite generous to express my ideas. I did not hesitate at any point to share my views. But I lack the ability to listen to others. Furthermore, I also think that I should develop global thinking. Today is the era of globalization and every organization is adopting this approach. I always face difficulty in working with people who are dominant and bossy and those who are strict in their tone of talking. All these characteristics that I have mentioned in the people to whom with I am unable to feel comfortable are opposite of my personality.
