Abstract
Inclusive education is being highly promoted globally in the recent years. This requires teachers to be able to demonstrate special skills and employ techniques to increase learning of students who need additional support. This paper determines the benefits that teachers may have with the knowledge of the disabilities of the students they are teaching. It also looks at the effects on the attitude and perceptions of teachers towards inclusive education. For this purpose, five relevant literatures were searched that were helpful in understanding and clarifying various concepts related to the research. Academic and personal applications of this research were lastly discussed.

Learning disorders in students and benefits of their knowledge to new teachers
Introduction
Inclusion of students with learning disabilities in general classrooms is a general practice conforming to the belief of uniform access to educational opportunities. For this to be successful, it requires efforts on the part of teachers as well as the educational institutes. This poses a challenge especially for the novice teachers. It is therefore required that they are trained in understanding and dealing of such diversity so that they are able to show the right kind of attitude and skills. Many studies have highlighted the concerns that pre-service or new teachers have about inclusive education and how they can be minimized (Loreman et.all, 2008). An essential factor that significantly helps in such situations is to know beforehand about the learning disorders that a student might have. In this regard, this paper helps in highlighting the benefits that there might be to the teachers in general and students in particular of having a clear knowledge about such deficits. It also identifies the issues that new teachers might face when encountered with such diverse student populations and what approaches will then be beneficial. For these purposes relevant literature will be discussed briefly to help in developing a clear understanding of different roles and concepts.
Discussion
Inclusive classrooms are a common educational practice aligning with the basic human rights outlined by United Nations in 1994. The benefits of this kind of education are manifold. Studies have shown that this requires tactful handling of the students on the part of the teacher. For this the first step is to know about and to have an understanding of the common learning disorders and the role of teachers in ...
