Leaning and Literacy Environment

Introduction

A positive learning environment is one where questions are welcomed by the students, and when they receive thoughtful responses at mutually selected times for students and staff. It involves respect for students, freedom to learn and enthusiasm to encourage a deep approach of learning. Also, departments with heavy workloads, high assessment demands and lack of freedom encourage a surface approach to learning. Students feel that a positive learning environment includes participation in child education and professional support to the learning process and outcomes (Neuman & Dickinson, 2006).

Paradigm Evaluation of Learning Environments

A paradigm is made up of the commonalities of a scientific community which are the principles that unify a group of scientists and popularisers' of a discipline, so beliefs, generalizations, values, techniques, types of research problems, and so on make up the "disciplinary matrix. Paradigm consists of the production of prototype solutions for a given class of problems, and the training of new generations of scientists in theoretical and methodological aspects for the preservation and development thereof.

Paradigms serve as patterns or models that form the basis of theory or methodology. Human beings daily action frameworks are influence by teachers, stakeholders and leaders. Operation of education system is affected by paradigms. In addition actions taken for improvement or reforms are also affected by paradigms. These paradigms are often called as beliefs, these beliefs shapes the way group of people or an individual acts. Because of the several impacts and importance of paradigms it is important that these paradigms should be analyzed and actions should be taken for the improvement of educational field rather than holdings success and achievements of students. Paradigms are changed and evaluated with the passage of time. An authors have said that, in twenty first century leader must be visionary able to successful and efficient. A visionary leader is one who imagines the future picture which requires an attention and understanding of past, future present paradigm shifts and paradigm. In this paper we are going to draw a table in which there would be several paradigms related to leadership, administration, and learning. This table will be analysed regarding how they could be operationalized through actions (Levine & Munsch, 2011).

The task of defining learning, in terms of the what, where, how, why and with whom becomes even more difficult in informal learning environments, for example, when individuals visit a museum, watch documentaries on television, play an interactive web-based game, participate in an after school science program, read articles and books, etc.

The paradigms are consists of beliefs about the learning environments and further it also focuses on how education systems are taking actions based on these paradigms. In this paper we have done analysis of paradigms and their opposite beliefs so that educators could know proper actions to take the system into right direction and towards further growth.

With the analysis of both failure, and success the American education system could have a better and effective chance of creating a ...
