The leader knows how to inspire trust and protect the interests of its affiliates, renew working methods, ask the right questions and take constructive initiatives. He is interested in results. He brings his subordinates to accomplish their tasks by using his personal influence and persuasion. It achieves its purpose by providing the assistance of others.
On the other hand, management is the process of planning, organizing, controlling and leading the operations and employees of the company. A manager is responsible for profit maximization and improves productivity by controlling and managing employees' behavior. Employees' satisfaction is in the hand of their manager. Manager imposed all the policies and procedures that may include both reward and punishment (Andy, 2010).

Difference between leader and manager
Companies do not usually speak of leaders, but of managers. A difference between the two concepts seem to exist: management is primarily a rational process, focusing on the technical aspects of leadership. Leadership focuses on the more personal aspects, it comes to the employees to influence behavior and performance in the desired direction. The distinction between leadership and management corresponds to the distinction between transactional and transformational leadership.
Transactional leadership is based on principles of exchange. It is assumed that the behavior of staff is driven by the search for pleasant and avoiding unpleasant feelings. Managers must therefore exchange principles that apply to satisfaction lead (the employees receive a reward for their contribution), and negative sanctions they can adjust unwanted behaviors.
