My company is restructuring itself, so it the roles and jobs would be change accordingly. In my opinion, I should be the manager of the department since I have capabilities to become a good leader. This is position which best fits on my working style. Being a manager, I would better contribute the company in achieving success.
Leadership: The processes by which an individual has influence over people and inspires, motivates and directs its activities to reach the goals, the essence of leadership are to have followers. (Haber, 2009)
Strength and Weaknesses
Good Leader seems to be a fluid concept, as much on the context. Approaches on the strengths of leadership argues that good leadership is not a question of having a specific set of leadership qualities, but rather is a matter of leveraging the strengths of leadership has already in a way that does the job. (Bass, 2008)
This does not mean that some skills and capabilities are not required by most, if not all leaders, it just is not a mold in particular that the person must enroll in a leader - they come in all shapes and sizes. Weaknesses are Impatient, Poor to listen to others, the spirit of the tyrant, Ignores the other people.
