Christian leaders have been defined as pastors who are servants while being credible and capable and aim to influence those who they can in the pursuit of the God-given direction. Then, Christian leadership is the process whereby these servants use the methods available to them to influence the people whom they are able to in the direction of the God (Malphurs, 2003).
Leadership is very important for Christian leaders. The pastors have a given role of leadership. They are there to influence the people who come to the church and even those who do not appear in the church. The pastors are in a unique position to make a difference in the lives of their followers. Their followers are very loyal and trust them for the direction of God that they show them. However, these Christian leaders have a unique position to go beyond showing their followers the way of God and instead make a huge difference in their lives. Then, assuming the role of leadership and learning leadership is the foremost duty of any Christian leader or pastor.
Still, it has been found that leadership is not the same as traditional leadership when it comes to the role of the pastor or other cleric. The pastors are in a special position that requires them to deliver on their jobs and show the real path of God to their followers. Accordingly, the management concept of leadership is expected to slightly differ for Christian leadership exhibited by the pastors. Resultantly, we need to conduct various audits of the leadership traits, capabilities, and roles of the pastors to determine their leadership skills, practices and roles. It is only when all of the leadership traits and behaviors are espoused by Christian leaders that they will become true leaders of their communities and the people that they lead.
Leadership audit analysis
Christian leader audit
The Christian leader audit measures the ability of the people to be Christian leaders. These Christian leaders are those who lead the Christian community. They may be pastors, bishops, priests, or may not be these. However, the Christian leadership is measured through various factors.
It is said that Christian leaders believe Christ to be the Savior. Furthermore, they are committed followers of Christ. This implies that they do not waver in their belief. Their beliefs and practices are advised by the Bible and the Bible alone. They do not have any other source of knowing the beliefs and Christian practices that they espouse. It also requires general Christian leadership roles from them where they motivate and lead the people in order for them to develop the godly character.
The Christian leaders are pure and purge themselves of all bad thoughts and temptations. They appear as pure Christian souls. Christian leaders lead by the power of the Holy Spirit and bring people to cross. This is the essence of Christian leadership to bring people to cross.
I scored an eight on the audit and according to my score I am a fairly good Christian ...
