A leader possesses several skills and abilities which enhance the effectiveness of their leadership and helps them in achieving success. However, all the leaders cannot have similar style of leading or carrying out the project tasks. According to DiSC which is a personal assessment tool for leaders, it has been identified that leaders posses four main types of styles in order to carry out the tasks, conduct team work, communicate and improve the productivity at work. DiSC involves Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness. In this paper we will analyze the leadership style that focuses on Steadiness and the impact of steadiness on the success of an organization (Sugerman, 2011).

Steadiness is ability and a style through which several leaders carry out their day to day tasks and perform several complex tasks as well such as completing a multifaceted project work. Steadiness involves a focused approach towards cooperating with other team members, organizational members and outsiders but within the current circumstances in order to carry out specific tasks relating to the project (DiSC, 2013). In order to identify the steadiness style in a leader, the following actions and abilities can be noticed.

They posses patience and do not eagerly carry out any task. They focus on comprehensive and rigorous methods and results

The leaders holding a steady style are usually team person, that is, they involve themselves with the team members and communicate with them for finding better results and achieving desired productivity

They mostly have a calm approach towards work because they are long term planners and analyze the problem from various angles

Steady leaders are generally good listeners. They do not tend to impose their leadership authority over others rather they become mixed up with the project team under their control in order to obtain more ...
