Introduction

In this assignment, I will be answering the third question that talks about complexity science and its impacts on me and on the environment where I am living. Complexity science proposes many interconnecting areas that affect each other in a clear synergistic and iterative aspect which cannot be fully predicted or controlled. It reflects in apparent simple things that there is some complex dynamical system. In my point of view, complexity is present in every single of the world, because there is no single thing that invented alone or came alone in this world. Different interacting objects make a one single thing that we usually consider it as a simple science.

Discussion

Every single thing in the world has gone through from a complex period, and then finally shaped in its original form. It is not important that complexity is always complicated, even if we look at the leadership level; many leaders make things needlessly complicated. Simplicity and complexity both have some standards and its configuration; therefore, we have to understand the nature of such quality. If we take the example of leadership, I believe that few rules and understanding can easily manage complex situations.

One of the concepts of complexity science 'adaptive' suggests that we can be more suitable with the changing environment. It presumes a procedure that can evaluate and use feedback to the change and how he fits in the environment that is continuously changing around him. This complexity science has been existed over the decades as became a reliable and valid approach of achieving effective leadership because that is based on the many researches. I personally follow this theory and formalize with other studies. The complexity science has expanded the nature of leadership understanding from a single point of view, and the good kind of leadership such as trait approach is for focusing on the significance of the style of leader and the requirements of various situations (Obolensky, 2012). This theory also evidence the predictive powers in order to determine the kind of leadership which likely to be useful in specific complex contexts. Moreover, it also indicates to not expect the leaders for being equally efficient in every circumstance and that is why, organizations much consider the leader in different situations to the style of leadership (Sargut & McGrath, 2011).

The theory offers good data on the style of leadership that can be effective for the organization in order to develop the profiles of leader for planning human resource. It has the great strength of employing empirical research that provides the accurate results as per the estimation. Most of the studies have evaluated it and proved reliable and valid through this approach (Obolensky, 2012). This complexity science has a wider vision of leadership that forces us to consider the effects of situations over the leaders. Therefore, it offers much important information regarding the kinds of leadership. From this theory, the collection of data can be practicable for maintaining leadership profiles.
