Introduction

Leadership has been defined by Barnard Bass, one of the leading scholars of leadership, as an interaction among two or more members of a group that often entails a restructuring or structuring of the situation and the expectations and perception of the members. Leadership occurs when the competencies or motivation of other group members are modified by one group member in the group.
