Introduction

Speaking of leadership is referring to a controversial concept, whose practice has been the subject of much social research, ranging from the profile of leaders who have developed and adapted throughout history to identify items or circumstances that generated and maintained at the forefront of social groups. In modern society, which can be described as someone who's willing to lead, the leader today is bound to be a constant change agent. Meanwhile, organizations demand a new generation of managers, capable of challenging the process, inspiring a shared vision, lift the spirits and positively channel the discontent, as well as train others to action (Nordström, 2010).

The leader faces the daily challenge of developing skills to drive change and influence their course time, direction and amplitude. Some have succeeded, others have simply missed and others now occupy the site. However, before a leader could exercise effective leadership, we need to learn about self-directed leader. That is, to generate the ability to direct their own advancement. The real leader is one who begins to educate themselves and improve in the practice of human virtues. By their own examples, they will set the standard for others in turn seek to develop and perform in a comprehensive manner. As primary aspect, the leader of any social group must be committed to the challenge of increasing the value or importance of the organization (DeRue & Wellman, 2009).

Discussion

Communication, or symbolic exchange between two or more persons, shall be braced with a great deal of creative and accurate handling of human relations. Leaders must also ensure that the communication function revivals in the proper place as a tool of business strategies and the strategic management.

The biographies of the leaders that have transpired have repeatedly demonstrated the important part played by the teacher or political guidance in individual development. With regard to the great teachers and management gurus, they take risks. They bet initially on perceived talent in young people. And they take the emotional risk to work closely with their pupils. The risk does not always pay, but the willingness and interest of the teacher will remain crucial for the development of authentic leaders (Kaiser, Hogan & Craig, 2008).

Within this general framework, in relation to leadership and power, there has also been frequent analysis of this phenomenon, looking insistently on a number of special features, traits and attributes, which by its rarity or unusual intensity allows to understand the alleged uniqueness of the woman or the man who becomes a leader in political contexts.

A feature of the political leader is a certain ability to detect cracks or weaknesses of a social structure, which allow you to set and break lead movements, reform or revolution. From this point of view the political leader is not clad character features that mythical, magical or quasi abnormal can create from nothing through their domain or their power structures more or less at will.
