Leadership is the set of capabilities that an individual has to influence the minds of people or a group of people, making their teams work enthusiastically in achieving goals and objectives. It is also understood as the ability to take initiative, manage, hold, promote, encourage, motivate and evaluate a group or team. In business administration leadership is the exercise of executive activity in a project effectively and efficiently, whether personal or institutional management. Therefore the leader has an important value in performance of any organization or team and he/she is the one who is at the head of the social organization of which they are the member (O'Loughlin, 2003). It has formal powers given to them by law or procedures nominations. Management missions involve those who exercise responsibility, direct service and perform tasks of forecasting of command of coordination or control. This paper aims focus on the profile of famous leader and I have selected Warren Buffett for discussing his leadership qualities and factors that influenced me that makes him most effective leader.

Influential factors of Warren Buffett

Warren Buffett is one of the most influential personality and top business leader and investor of United States. He is well known for his investment leadership qualities and simple life styles. His leadership qualities revolve around the fact that he has the ability to establish goals and objectives. He knows how to lead a group, and knows where to take it. Without a clear goal, no effort will suffice. His goals and objectives are consistent with the capabilities of the group (Johnson, 2009). According to him there is no point setting goals that cannot be met. He has also a goof quality of capacity planning. Once the goals are made, he emphasizes on the importance and necessity to make a plan to get there (Miles, 2002). His plans define the actions that must be met, the time to perform, the people responsible for them, resources, etc.

The most effective qualities that make Warren Buffett a true leader are the vision to change the world by his skills and qualities. He has the power to become a good leader and he believes in learning from the past mistake which is the true sign for any leader. He shares his leadership qualities at all levels of the organization and believes in continuous learning. In the business world, many articles and book are related to leadership roles that are actively used in business and Warren Buffett wears those titles to put himself in various roles of leaders in business. Other influential thing about Warren Buffett is his innovative ideas and strategies regarding investments (Johnson, 2009). He is well known for his investment strategies just because he always looks for new and better ways of doing things. This feature is important before a fast moving world, with changing technology, and widely competed.
