The ADA act was introduced in the year 1990 in the month of July. This act was introduced to prevent the discrimination of any type against the people who are disabling in any sense. The act covered the domains of accommodation, public service, job and salaries and other areas where there was the chance of any discrimination. The act did not bind the employers in any sense, but the discrimination on the basis of the disabilities was strictly banned. Other than this, there was some amount of extra favor that was given to the disabled people in this act to make life easier for them in the work place and when they go out for shopping.

Background
The American disability act entails in it, several sections which in turn, cover a large amount of the domains and areas of different types and categories where the discrimination was being practiced in USA. This act also in some sense affected the convince stores and the industry of these stores in USA (USDL, 2013).
The convenience store is a category of the retail store which carry the assortment of the products that are of daily use and usually requires in the for the households on a daily basis. The major aim of building these stores was also to provide, the ease and simplicity for the people who are disabling, and they may not walk and travel for longer hours in order to shop for the things they require on a daily basis. These stores are usually located in the neighborhood locations and are near to the residential area. The reason for the nearby location is also the same for these stores that is to make the daily shopping easy for the disability (NACS, 2013).
There are several ways in which the ADA affects the convince stores. And there are some points s in the law is to be strictly followed by the store owners. There is also some change made by the government in the ADA which is newly added under the same law (NACS, 2013).
The section title III of the ADA prevent strictly the discrimination on the disability basis in the accommodations regarding the public and focuses on the commercial facilities and the public accommodations. These accommodations include any facilities that affect the operations of the commerce. This act also includes that the design and the structure of the business place should be in compliance with the established standards (USDL, 2013).
Under the same title, the individuals may not be discriminated on the basis of the reason that the person is disabling. He or she should have the full and equal opportunity to enjoy all the goods, services, facilities, accommodations, benefits associated with any public amusement, shopping or accommodations. These include any places like transportation, hotels, car service and the shopping malls with all types of the retail stores including the convince stores (NACS, 2013).
