Introduction

Late Adulthood tends to be defined by many as the period in individual life which begins after the age of sixty and tends to continue till the individual dies. However, in some cases the period known as late adulthood can also strike in the age of seventy. Like any other stage in the course of life this period too has its own importance and comes with its own pros and cons. The stage of the life known as late adulthood tends to influence an individual both physically and cognitively. However, the experts tend to differ on which aspect first surrenders itself to the idea of late adulthood.

Today, as the technology, has grew to its new heights the people who reaches late adulthood tends to enjoy their life more which was not the case in the past years. Today, people who tend to reach late adulthood tend to do things which they have always wanted to experience in their life but failed to do so because of the social pressures (Dennis, 2008). However, the fact cannot be denied that those people who tend to reach late adult hood unquestionably requires more care and more resources in order to sustain themselves. In the context of this paper, we will be highlighting some of the issues relating to the stage of the life known as late adulthood.

It tends to be prescribed, by the experts that we should adopt the habit of exercise form the very early stage, of our life in order to avoid any complications at the end of it. Plus it stands to be prescribed in order to remain fit and disease free. However, by inculcating exercise in the stage of the life known as late adulthood one enhances the chance of stretching the life further and tend to enjoy it more. Health, however, is not only linked to exercise only, but also the proper diet should also be considered as a viable option. Since the people who tends to fall in the category of that stage, by design requires more care and they should also realize that they do require a greater care. Therefore, by adopting the appropriate diet they can reduce the half of their ailments if not they can reduce its effects. Experts tend to believe, that people who tend to fall under the bracket of late adulthood should avoid eating food.
