Introduction

The main insight of Everett for understanding language and communication has various issues that need to be understood in a proper way. The two aspects that are language and communication have dependence on each other. When two people speak any language whether it is their native language or any other language, but it is always said that people indulge in communication with each other. The main objective required to achieve in this assignment is to assess the whole communication process that took place among the people. Everett is the person who is playing a key role in the entire communication process. This is the reason why, the major requirement of the assignment is to analyze the Everett's insight for understanding language and communication.

The statement should be made for making a use of the paradigmatic use of language, but there are various other options for the people that they can use in the form of words. There are people who can make requests, ask questions, give orders, make promises, give thanks, offer apologies, and so on. Furthermore, there is every speech that becomes the main attraction for carrying out the performance in the field of communication. The speech also characterizes the role of speaker for displaying an outstanding performance in front of the audience. The theory of speech act has relation to the level of script created by the writer. It should clearly highlight the types of speech acts and the ways which can play a crucial role in the success or failure of the writer. The meaning of the communication should be clear to the entire audience listening to the speech. There are three main ways through which utterances are approached in the communication. All these utterances will be discussed in detail, in the following paragraphs. Everett reminds people that they have an involvement in every speech, and, they must make statements acts' besides doing any other work.

There are several ways for them to go wrong or be infelicitous apart from speaking truth to the people. It was certainly Everett who designed the assessment of the usage of the language for communication. The homework of Everett was very good in working all the requirements for setting up an ideal mode of communication. Everett's attention largely focuses in the explicit performance of the utterances, and, highlighted situations when people use sentences like 'I nominate, you're fired', 'the meeting is adjourned', and 'you are hereby sentenced'. According to Everett, these sentences are used under circumstances when the performance issue is a main topic. He describes these words under utterances category because they somehow create an effect on the entire communication process (Everett, 1962, 75).

Everett stated that the theory of speech tries to create a proper communication among the words used in the sentences.
