Land law is related to the disputes that occur due to the acquisition of land. There are different cases; however in this paper I will talk as Ashley Grainger who is a trainee solicitor for Mr. Pringle. Mr. Pringle has been away due to some family reasons and will be away for the same for quite some time. I am looking after a case that has occurred on the acquisition of Edmond House. Now that Mr. Pringle is away, I have to handle this case alone. I have been in constant contact with Mr. Pringle and he has aksed to me to prepare a written report before the 25th of February i.e. when he arrives.

This report is an analysis of the eight documents, which include the document for the transfer of the title of the property, sketch plan of the Edmond House and the surrounding property, along with different letters between Poppy Horrocks, Edward Pringle, Fred Furnace, Nora Twitchell, Lorraine Special, Victor Matelin and Robert Worthy. While preparing the report, I have to ensure that these eight documents are incorporated in the report so that Mr. Pringle knows the background of the case. It will also help him in understanding the case appropriately and in the correct manner. This means that this report will be comprehensive and will provide details of all the eight documents that have been a part of this case so that the case can be understood in a manner that will help in solving the case in a way that is in the best interest of all the people involved in the case.

Official copy of the title to Edmond House

The Document

The first document attached with this report is the official copy of the property papers of the Edmond House. The new owner of the Edmond House is Mrs. Poppy who has bought the home from Mr. Victor. The first document shows that the house is still in the name of Mr. Victor. The original property papers are with the registar for the name change. The house will soon be in the name of Mrs. Poppy, the new owner of the house. As a trainee solicitor, I have assessed this document, and it is not fake. The documents have been forwarded to the registrar for the name change and the date on the document have helped in knwoing more about the deal that has taken place between Mr. Victor and Mrs. Poppy.

Legal Advise

According to the law in England for the title, HM Land Registry guarantees the title (and records the legal owners) in England and Wales. Everyone can read the archives of the Land Registry's and see that is / are the owner(s) of land, if there is a mortgage attached and if there are restrictions on the construction and the right passage.
