Introduction
Conservatism refers to the political and social ideology that supports the continuation of traditional social institutions and political norms. Conservatives (People who support conservatism) support pursuing things as they are and oppose absolute modernism, but they do focus on the stability and progress of the society while preserving the ideology (http://www.studentnewsdaily.com). The philosophy of Liberalism promotes liberty and equality for all. It is a political belief of progress and essential goodness of the human irrespective of race, gender, religion and ethnicity. This philosophy supports to provide equal social and political rights to each member of the society (Hobhouse 2009).
Discussion
The word “Laissez-faire” has French origin means “Let them do”. Laissez-faire Conservatism is a political idea of free market. It describes an economic environment in which the transactions made between private parties would be free from tariffs, government subsidies or premium awards and enforced ownership. It allows less involvement of government rules and laws, which would, be sufficient to protect property rights against property damage (whether as a result of aggression or stolen). Uncharged by Government regulations, It is a political concept of supporting efficient economic function (Buder 2009). Liberalism, on the other hand, is a political idea which supports freedom of speech, religion, civilian rights, unrestricted trade and private property. It promotes the concept of equality and liberty (Hobhouse 2009). The concept of new Liberalism (which sometimes called Social Liberalism) believes in the role of government in addressing economy and social issues (which may include Education and health care) while the government is also supposed to be responsible in playing a critical role to implement civil rights and liberty for all.
