Introduction

This paper discusses the events between the U.S. and Korea since the end of the Cold War. Moreover, it also identifies and describes the current relationship between the two countries. The country that has been chosen and description of the current U.S. diplomatic approach to the country has been provided is USSR. The two relationships have been compared and summary of how US has changed the ways it relates to other countries in the past 20 years has been provided.

Events between US and Korea since Cold War

In the initial years, the relationship between the US and Korea were not favorable, this was mainly because of the Korean War that took place. In Korean Conflict, war can be divided into three distinct stages and equally important, each with its own target: North Korean strike, strike of South, and stagnation. Examination of these three stages clearly distinguishes objectives of war. The conflict began after the Second World Conflict II, when the country of Korea was divided into two parts north and south. North Korea went to the Soviet side of the Union, as well as in South Korea went to the side of the joined state (LaFeber, 2002). Relations between the two edges has grown stronger over the years and from 25 June 1950, North Korea broke service in and invaded the south. The Korean War is a very simplistic war, when trying to explain, as compared to the First World War.
