In 2006, Dow Jones bought Reuters stake in Factiva for about $160 million. Factiva's stated mission is to provide quality and best information so there customers can make the best business decision. Clare Hart the vice president and director of global sales had replaced Timothy M. Andrews as President and CEO of Factiva. Due to the promotion this position makes Hart as one of the most established woman ahead in the industry.
