Knowledge Management (KM) has been a discipline that has earned recent popularity, in the light of bringing synergetic outcomes and creating a liaison between multiple areas of knowledge and expertise. Amongst the most common that have been undertaken and covered in the paradigm of knowledge management primarily include business administration, information technology and management, providing blueprints and layout for the conduct of a concrete professional work base. Very recently, considering ample research and detailed investigation has been employed into knowledge management, which include policies and information related to public health, computer science and media, providing data and records that enable us to make way for the creation of disseminating knowledge and expanding horizons in terms of specialization. The irony here is that even though the discipline itself offers a variety of benefits and could be put to use for current and future endeavours to project success in a given area, knowledge management (KM) has failed to provide for fulfilling the requirements of any organization at a certain timeframe. Through this paper and the necessary results and outcomes, the researcher anticipates a detailed scrutiny into hindrances and casualties associated with knowledge management (KM) and also provide for solutions and alternatives through which people become associated with the paradigm of knowledge management (KM).

Introduction

To understand the discipline, the paradigm of knowledge and its constituents require detailed understanding and comprehension. Knowledge not only symbolizes the paradigm of education, but also makes way for the creation and the establishment of excellence in ways beyond the contemporary (Burns & Grove, 2005, pp.85).

Companies and organizations now move ahead onto the model of collaboration and coordination are now working in close proximity with one another.
