Introduction

Managing a franchise requires a lot of dedication and care in order to comply with the requirements of the franchiser. These requirements need to be maintained strictly so that the brand value of the franchise does not deteriorate (Kamensky, 2011). The following key management roles will be needed and will be filled by some experienced people:

Operations Manager

Operations manager is the person in charge for the operations going on in an the organization and has an inclusive responsibility for the business to achieve financial success. The operations manager deals with the external associations and alliances with the vendors, community leaders, and the lenders. The operations manager is often also responsible for either marketing or production for the business. The operations manager embarks on the goals, strategic plan and vision for the business.

The operations manager will be responsible for every aspect of the business and will be considered the leader. His task will be to manage the external relations, production, marketing, and strategic plans of the organization. This role will be fulfilled by Adam Dean since he has 8 years of working in a fast food franchise and has the skills to lead such a department.

Quality Control, and environmental safety Manager

In any industry, quality control and environmental safety are the major functions. One individual or a team of individuals , in a business, is in charge of coping up with the product quality, overseeing water and air quality, EPA compliance, managing OSHA compliance, training of the personnel in all these areas and preparing every essential yearly, quarterly, and monthly reports.
