Introduction

Juvenile justice is termed as a specific area related to the criminal law that is actually applicable to those persons who are not responsible for the criminal acts at any case. As per the rules and regulations of the courts of law in most of the states, criminal culpability is actually set at 18 years of age and any person below this age limit if at any point of time commits a crime is not liable for it. Juvenile law as a matter of fact is governed by the state law and as per the latest research it has been seen that juvenile code is also set up by most of the states. Rehabilitation is the main aim / goal behind juvenile justice rather than giving harsh punishments. Despite this, if at any point of time juvenile court waives its respective jurisdiction, it can thus be transferred into adult court as well. Therefore, juvenile justice is termed as one of the method with the help of which rather giving punishments; rehabilitation is used as the method in order to make overall situations well effective as well as potential too. In order to ensure safety as well as welfare of children, juvenile justice is used as one of the best method that can enhance the efficiency of an overall society.

In this fast moving world, numerous issues are prevailing and thus generating various problems as well. Therefore, in order to stop the increased rate, best possible measures should be taken so that further issues can be resolved at best point of time. Juvenile justice is therefore termed as one of the most useful as well as reliable method that can be best possible used by taking rehabilitation into an account rather than giving harsh punishments. Our society is now a day facing numerous issues and thus crime rate is also increasing. In order to stop the increased crime rate various measures are being taken by the courts of law and juvenile justice is thus termed as one of the best method with the help of which crime rate can be reduced as well. As per various researches it depicts that as per various courts of law, every crime is treated by harsh punishments and according to them the best possible method to reduce the increased rate of crime is by giving harsh punishments. Whereas, as per various rules and regulations as well as researches it has been proved that giving harsh punishment is not the only solution. This is the reason why rehabilitation is termed as one of the best possible method with the help of which juvenile justice is treated. Therefore, rehabilitation rather than giving harsh punishments is termed as the best possible method and this is the only way that can reduce the increased crime rate as well. Along with this other measures are also been adopted in order to handle every situation peacefully (Hobson, 1977).
