Juvenile Delinquents: Breed Deviant Behavior of Sexual Offense/Assault

Introduction

The activities conducted by the citizens of the state have direct impact upon the state as well as the people around them. The harmony and stability of the country depends upon the activities of the people and upon the ruling efficiency and effectiveness of the leaders. The nature of the crimes conducted has severe and negative impact upon the societies. Various books and articles have been published that shows about how the criminal activities have great impact upon the societies and other people are directly or indirectly affected by such criminal activities and also by the criminals. The most severe impact can be found upon the juveniles who develop negative behaviors and attitudes.

The behaviors and the living standards of the children's families play an important role in the development of child's behaviors. The attitudes and the behaviors of members of the family are greatly affected by the values that are practices in the home environment and by the activities and living standards that are carried out by the family members. The favorable or unfavorable circumstances that are faced by the family members also have significant impact upon the behaviors of the members. The most common situations that create the mental stress and develop negative behaviors in the family members include the death loss of any member of the family such as the death of the father or mother or death of the sibling. The situations that create negative impact upon the mental behaviors and attitudes of the individuals also involve the gang violence due to which any of the family members is affected. All of these situations and the negative behavior symptoms are dependent upon social environment and upon the shared public values (Berger, T. and Peter L., 1967).

There are various factors in the societies that lead the children to indulge into the criminal activities and thus make them involved in juvenile crimes. There are various facilities that have been developed at the governmental level and at the private level to treat the juveniles in different behaviors and ways as the adults are treated in the imprisonments (Fisher, B. S., and Cullen, F. T., 2004). The basic aim of the designing of the facilities is to house juvenile delinquents who are not treating the deviant behavior and emotional psychological factors such as love and abandonment issues. There is the lack of adequate level of government prison facilities and the basic reason that lies behind this fact is the presence of political factors. The governmental prisons are very much affected by the political powers. It has been found that because of the political influences, the juvenile prisons are being used as the source of the cheap labor.
