Ethnicity plays a significant role in every society. Many decisions have taken on the basis of ethnic difference which was mostly for and against the rights. In courtroom proceedings and judicial practices mostly the judicial staff has stiffed with their maintained laws and regulations that have made for everyone. It only happened in chronological time, but in the contemporary world only few courtroom proceedings and legal practices have sustained their dignity(Watson & Ancis, 2013). Elaborate it with the help of an example, in US if two victims had charged and sent into imprisonment because of bribery or any other cases, in this situation when they both presented in judicial courtroom the decisions are different for both. Most, in courtroom only white people has taken the judicial position, so decisions which have taken for both have a sense of discrimination. The black people charged high as compared to white people, though the white felon has highly involved in crime. The ethnic influences in courtroom proceedings and judicial practices have presented an adverse affects that enlighten the discrimination. Mostly the white people have taken advantage on ethnic based which had derogatory situation for the black peoples. However, the main responsibility of judicial members is to take decisions on the basis of dignity. This left an adverse mark on the identification of judicial practices and courtroom procedures (Watson & Ancis, 2013).

Arguments For and Against Ethnicity-Based Jury Nullification

Jury nullification is erroneous, but its firm to overlook. In most cases, the defense team, the prosecutors and the judicial members have rights to ask questions with the juror. They have total authority to put them in the panel and can clear their queries. The line of perplexed can be fulfilling by completing the proper investigation. The act of jury nullification has depended on the court laws which they have taken against any cases. Their responsibility is to enlighten every case and nullify it as per their inconvenience (Gazal-Ayal, & Sulitzeanu-Kenan, 2010). The ethnic based jury nullification has some pros and cons which can describes the efficiency or inefficiency of this act.
