The basic purpose and objective for any research to take place is to identify and highlight the key accounts regarding a subject, person or a phenomenon that may occur. Adopting the most appropriate and accurate form of research methodology depends upon the nature and circumstances under which the research has been done (Borda, 1991). To begin with, there are two broad categories through which research is conducted and framed. The first is fundamental or primary research (or commonly labeled quantitative research), where the individual or a group of researchers begin from a fresh perspective over a project or a hypothesis that has been identified. On the other hand, secondary research (or qualitative research) implies looking out for works and scripts that have been initially undertaken, in the form of descriptive data, through which we can achieve the depths of the research area (Campbell, 2003).
For conducting research, the collection of information would be unbiased; only then the targeted results can be achieved. This is the key source on which my aims and objectives are based; unless you are not clear what you are aiming for and what are your objectives, there would be no use of any information or data you have (Campbell, 2002). Aims and objectives should be reality based that is rationality should be there when you are mentioning the aims and objectives. They should be relevant and to the point so that one can understand easily and at once. In addition, they should focus on what can be gained and what is useful, being concise, coherent and correct at the same time. The goal of the research should be clear and rational, since these are based on reality (Carolyn, 2008). They are relevant to the research; which after achieving these objectives shall be reviewed. This way, the final results, of the research, would be easier to obtain and extremely beneficial for the research. Furthermore, the advances, which would be made through aims and objectives, should be the key pointers of consideration, which should help in the final evaluation (Borda, 1991). For instance, the journeys of family members of homicide victims have had several experiences that could not be found easily through primary or secondary research separately. Directing questioning, interviewing and taking up responses of people on a forum (primary research) and looking out for previous accounts that have mentioned and the responses that have been highlighted (secondary research) shall be undertaken side by side in order to obtain and extract in-depth results (Campbell, 2003). Worst situations should be avoided through research and all the consequences should be measured. Applied research enables us to know about truth all the way through analytic facts. Research enables the facts to come through, and the work can be done through it. This means that the purpose, aim and objective of conducting research should be clear. No matter how good your research is, until and unless you would not be ...
