Quantitative Study: A Model for Random Student Drug Testing

Readers believe that the general purpose of the study is clear and will help the readers to reach to the conclusion in an more effective manner, which is to examine the drug testing of random students from one school district. This is done in regard to several aspects, which are examined in this study. This was to be done in regard to the drug abuse and drug use in relation to the thinking of the students who participate in extracurricular activities. Moreover, the readers believed that the personally think that the perceptions and attitudes of the community members, school staff and the parents of these children's regarding the use of drugs by students are examined in an more appropriate manner. Apart from this, parents thinking about the issue of drug testing of random students and the impact it can have on students regarding their use of alcohol and drugs are also identified in an effective manner. Furthermore, the analyses and patterns of the collected data related to the utilization of drug testing from random students as a tool for preventative measures is another aspect that was examined in this study. Therefore, I firmly believe that the study has provided a significant contribution in the area of study, as the results derived from this study are effective enough to be considered and taken seriously. Therefore, it can be said that the results of this study can prove to be of real benefit, if they are properly utilized by the concerned authorities (Nelson, Rose, et al, 2011).

Yes, it can be said that the review of literature that has been provided in this study establishes a link between the previous and the current study. I said this because of the fact that the study provides a detailed overview of all the previous studies on the topic of study, in order to highlight the readings that researchers in the past have already provided. Moreover, I perceives that as the study is based on the utilization of both, qualitative, as well as, quantitative method, therefore, it can be said that the review of literature does establish a link between previous and the current study. The review of literature in this study has been very well organized and is also up-to date, as the author has used studies that have been conducted in the recent past (Nelson, Rose, et al, 2011).

Similarly, readers reach to the idea tha the research questions that have been employed in this study do not seem to be clear and concisely stated. The readers can easily identify this. This is said because of the fact that researcher has identified questions that have been stated in a manner that seem to be vague and unclear for a reader.
