Introduction

John Galliano was the first British designer to take creative control of a French fashion house. Galliano's style is chaotic, eclectic, flamboyant and theatrical. His personality traits show that he uses a variety of materials and colorful hues to capture the essence of any cultural, geographical and historical influences. Galliano began to receive commissions, and his name rang permanently throughout Paris. The number of customers increased to keep pace with growing social rank. The British designer was emerging as a reference in Parisian fashion. Clients increased, the orders grew, and ultimately revenues increased. Galliano began to form a small empire.
