What are some of the basic tenets/principles of the religion?

Jehovah's Witnesses is a religion quite distinct from the traditional Christianity. According to reports it has more than 7.65 million devoted followers around the world, directed by a group of elders in Brooklyn New York based governing body who establishes all the doctrines. (Slick, Matt. 2012)

According to the fundamental theology of Jehovah's Witnesses, God is in fact just a single person, and not actually a trinity, who is neither everywhere nor does have all the answers. Based on this belief these followers argue that God first created the archangel Michael and through whom He created all the other things around us including the universe, the earth, Adam and Eve.  All this creative work took God almost 42,000 years. Moreover, the Jehovah's witnesses are all based on their own interpretation of the bible however they choose to refer to their own translations of the bible. Additionally, they also believe that Armageddon is in fact imminent leading to the destruction of the present world and that the establishment of the kingdom of God on earth is indeed the only solution for the copious problems that are faced by the mankind today. What are the beliefs concerning life and death? (When does life begin? when does it end? what happens to us after we die)

The Jehovah's Witnesses, based on the statement of Ezekiel (18:4) tend to consider the soul as mortal, depicting that if a soul has sinned, it shall die and thus believe the soul does not continue to live after an individual dies. As far as death is concerned it is referred to as a state of non-existence.
