It's Nothing New: Gender Inequalities in Law Enforcement
Introduction
Gender inequality or discrimination is not anything that is new in our society. There are various issues faced by women in almost all the fields of life such as in workplace, law enforcement and even in education. This is one of the most un-attended issues found in our society and it is due to the negligence of law enforcement authorities. Women are still facing gender biasness in joining law enforcement authorities as they are considered mediocre than men. The government authorities and the law enforcement authorities are the main supporters of gender inequality in the society. There are various organizations that are exercising gender biased activities in the workplace, such as women are not allowed to be promoted to the senior or key posts as it is considered as the mere right of men even if they are capable of handling that position.
All these issues enforce lack of motivation and commitment in the organizations, which is not a positive sign for an organizational stability at all. Every individual should be considered and recognized according to his or her potentials and capabilities with not biasness. There are very few women working in law enforcement agencies such as police, which is mainly due to biased policies and induction procedures. Some of the law enforcement agencies are facing increased pressure from professional organizations and community groups to have fair induction or recruitment of women and minority officers, as it is their civil right.

Women are not compensated according to their scale or position in various organizations of the world that is totally un-fair for their well-being.
