This is an assignment of MIS (Management Information System) of MBA Stage-1. This paper is aimed to highlight many different aspects of ITMIS within an organization. The company chosen for this case is the Provident Financial PLC. Provident Financial PLC is a financial services company in UK. Provident Financial PLC is based in Bradford. The information system requirements at each stage of decision making in management are discussed. The information system is destined to be sophisticated and reliable, and at the same time, it should be user-friendly. The effective use of Knowledge Management is also discussed. Security is one of the major concerns in the information systems in any organization. Therefore, security measures in the information system are also discussed. Cloud computing is of the latest technological innovations, which has tremendously reduced the IT costs of an organization. A discussion is also made on the use, role, and benefits of cloud computing in the information systems.

Every company needs and requires certain information from the different sources. This helps them to make sure that they work in a manner that is helpful for their business and that will benefit their company. For the purpose of disseminating information, the accounts of MIS will be analysed and assessed in a holistic concept and at the same time make justified amends for the purpose and objective of understanding as to how organization benefit from the accounts of data processing and information extraction accordingly (Brien et al., 2006).
