Organizations from all across the globe are required to innovate their processes and products in order to keep pace with competitive pressure and also to increase productivity in the worldwide or region. Sustainability in the organizations becomes necessary in order to expand or defend market share as well as to create the capability of attracting foreign investments. Business organizations in developing countries can face sustainability issues due to many structural and economic reasons (Anonymous, n.d., Pp.1-2).
Innovation of products appear to the most important strategic option which is present for supply chains, integrated industrial sectors and firms in developing economies so as to compete in a better way in current or present global market. Although, progress in infrastructure and communication, information and international and local markets are appearing to be more and more challenging and competitive therefore organizations are confronting with sustainability issues in running their business operations successfully (Anonymous, n.d., Pp.1-2).
During the period of last decade, product innovation interest has developed and expanded quickly. The beginning of open markets, industrialization, increment in competitiveness among global and local companies and high quality needs from consumers are creating crucial demand for product innovation in the industry. Without the innovation in the products, organizations are not capable of surviving in the long run and they cannot play an integral part in product development and company management processes. Product innovation departments have been created by international organizations in order to make the performance and sustainability of the organization improved (Anonymous, n.d., Pp.1-2).
In the management team of each and every large or medium sized organization, expert for product innovation lays an essential role. In many developing countries and economies, significance of product innovation is speedily increasing in order to provide better sustainability to the organizations. Product development must be focused by each and every organization whether it is small sized company or it is medium sized company (Anonymous, n.d., Pp.1-2).

Global marketing sustainability and consumers' consumption, these interrelated subjects are of increasing concern in present days. The consumption behavior of the consumers continues to have subsistent and significant impact on the sustainability of the environment. The purpose of this research project is to carry out an analysis and study of different literature and secondary sources related to the above mentioned topic.
The aim is to critically assess the issues related to the consumption behavior and its impact on the sustainability of the environment as well as the implications of this on the marketers and the firms especially for the international businesses.
Initially, the paper cascades light on the ecological and social issues that are resulted from the consumption and disposal of goods by the consumers. By identifying and analyzing these issues, the author aim to make the reader aware of the serious impacts that result from inappropriate consumption patterns of the consumer.
