Introduction

IJU - the Islamic Jihad Union founded by the fighters from Islamic movement of Uzbekistan in the year of 2002 in the tribal areas of Pakistan. This organization was initially called as the Islamic Jihad Group but later failing of the Uzbekistan attacks, changed its name to core al-Qaida. After then the focus of the organization has been shifted, the organization has started terrorism attacks in Pakistan and Europe, specifically Germany. The IJU is dealing in training the Western agents for promoting attacks in the West. These recruits are mostly from Turkey and Turkish western communities. IJU currently doesn't seem effective in doing operations, it is only reckoned with force.

Background and origin

Najmiddin Jalolov, alias Abu Yahya Muhammad Faith was born in Andijan Region of Uzbekistan in late 2001.along with the other former IMU's, the one who founded (IJG) Islamic Jihad Union or Jamaat al-Jihad al-Islamic in the month of march 2002, and it latterly named as Islamic Jihad Union (IJU) in the month of March 2005. This group was also formed in exile in Northern agency of Pakistan FATA areas. Here the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan along with Taliban Fighters took refuges along with following the invasion of Afghanistan 2001. The splitting motive behind the decision of Jalovo'From IMU is not known. However their lies unconfirmed reports that made argue of ideological differences between the two leaders, specifically to that extent to which Uzbekistan remain group operations focus. The deputy of Jalolov was identified by the United States. Buranov was the one who is responsible for the IJU communications, there since 2005 is responsible for the developing suicide bombers of IJU. After the fall of Taliban back in2001, Buronav alike Jalolov had received the explosive training in the camps of Al-Qaeda camps of Afghanistan, also they had fight against North Alliance. IJU organization remains at this small scale, though there lays an impossibility to determine.

The writer has divided both of them into further two groupings and highlighted them as violent and non violent kinds of manifestations. The state oriented involves social activism revolution and wild type of manifestation; the other one also seek the wild and violent type and further characterized into two forms, Classical Jihadism and Global jihadism. The writer also give introduction to the state oriented Islamism which is identifiable with the will to transform the political as well as social organization of state but the Islamism which is Umma oriented is differable with will of protecting community of islam from the possible outside threats. Comparing these activities we came to the conclusion thet IMU initially was a state oriented organization and later it has moved to the classic groups after their joining with Taliban.
