Introduction

The teaching unit aims to tackle the issue of accessibility by providing a general framework for environmental matter, certainly not exhaustive saw the vastness of the subject. Initially describe what is meant by environment accessibility and how it would affect the individual's participation in positive and in particular of persons with disabilities. Then address the legislative analyzing the laws in force and some requirements.

Finally propose different accessibility solutions in the following areas: environment whereas, public outdoor spaces and interior spaces; domestic environments by providing accessibility solutions through the use of aids and adaptations; working environments by inserting the concept of ergonomics and comparing with that of accessibility; computing environments trying to explain what is meant by e-accessibility and which in law obliges application; collective transport stressing the need to ensure the right to travel for all passengers to buses, trains, ships, cars driving by explaining.

The process for the achievement of special licenses and indicating some of the adaptations that allow accessibility to the guide, and finally, describing the achievement school environments in schools, not only with interventions on infrastructure but also with the use of assistive technologies for the inclusion of students with difficulties of a different nature.

Target is the primary recipients of this teaching unit are users, protagonists in a society that does not take into account of their need for active participation in social life, and professionals working in the areas of medical, rehabilitation, social and often feel powerless in the face of so much bureaucracy and legislative contradiction (Want & Kleitman, 2006, 961-971).

Educational objectives is purpose of this paper is to provide information on the regulations governing the accessibility and give information on possible solutions to environmental changes and the use of technological aids and not for the elimination of cultural barriers, environmental and especially to achieve the autonomy of the user.

Accessibility and Architectural Barriers
