Intrapreneurship

Intrapreneur

An intrapreneur is someone who transforms an idea into a profitable business within an organization. The intrapreneurship is therefore to be undertaken within an existing business. The intrapreneur manages emerging structures within a company, accompanied by a restructuring, is implementing a quality system, and promotes creativity and innovation. He works in the development and implementation of projects, development of a quality, implementation of innovation projects, and the establishment of an entity. The intrapreneur also differs from the Manager, which is defined through a number of roles enacted by Fayol, such as planning, organizing, budgeting, coordination and control. The manager is in a reactive mode and intrapreneurship in a proactive mode. More generally, the intrapreneur is differentiated by the orientation of the manager of its operating modes. He is freed from the tutelage of excessive objectives assigned while at the same time he is deeply involved in the implementation of its project.
