Introduction

Society and the school have many similarities. One of them, cruel, was the rejection of rare or in other words, the exclusion of the abnormal. Then arises as a special education teaching-learning process in which the student is characterized by impairments, disabilities or handicaps, and revolve around these other denominations as disabled, dysfunctional. The medical model marked the beginning of marvellous education among other things, because the student are considered ill, having shortcomings.
