This paper includes a critical analysis of the major threats to the individuals as well as the public health worldwide developed from medical errors. Our discussion belongs to the interventions that are developed to reduce these medical errors. It will include the promising strategies to help reduce the medical errors. Patient safety has been a great issue in the recent times and it can be resolved through the intervention in the medical care.

Introduction

Medical errors and adverse events have caused serious problems to the patients and individuals and the overall public health all around the world. These errors in medical have been intervened in order to reduce the harm caused by these medical errors. Forcing functions, computerized prescription methods and advices, checklists, handouts have been promising interventions made in this field to reduce the medical errors. However many of the interventions have failed to reduce the medical errors but its importance is worthwhile and cannot be neglected anyhow. Moreover, advanced intervention practices should be implemented to come over the problem of medical errors. A medical refers to the adverse effect of care, which may be harmful to the patients. This might cause due to inappropriate treatment of a disease, infection or injury of a patient. These errors are often characterized as human errors in general. As, these errors arise mostly due to the false actions of the health care providers.
