In addition, the payment in the given case is being made as a non-operative matter. It is a not moral, ethical or business obligation on the company to make these payments. Since, it will be new venture the company reserves the right to decide what it deems best for the business.

If the customer is willing to give the company the business that it brings without the payment than it is in favor of the company to continue to do business with him (Chinese Institute of Engineering, 2012). If, however, the customer wants to take advantage of the fact that a new management is changing then he should be informed very clearly that the deal he wants to lock is not possible and the company will not get involved in any under the table practice.

This is to say that if the purpose of the preceding company was to make these payments under corporate social responsibility to elevate its market image, then the company will have to continue (Luthans, 2009). If, however, there is no benefit to the company then in an event where the company is giving away part of its bottom line does not make sense. Once the company gets stable there is no harm in making the payments.
