Global healthcare systems are facing many challenges, which are same as high quality with low cost. Although healthcare is truly organised within national geographies, but the market trends are global because of increase pressure of globalisation, new technologies, latest developments in pharmaceuticals and increasing demands of customers.

Major Health Risks

Infectious diseases are the continuous threat to the population of the United Kingdom in terms of health and wellbeing. Increasing evolution of anti-infective drugs has made the bacteria resistant to such drugs. Many food processing procedures are equipped with certain pathogens such as viruses, which may be the chief reason for acquiring brain inflammation among people of the United Kingdom (Rothì, et.al, 2006, pp. 4-13). The global healthcare burden of HIV/AIDS is increasing in several countries and thus, reducing the quality of life. The poor living standards and use of alcohol and tobacco are also limiting the availability of healthcare services. Thus, strong healthcare initiatives are required to promote awareness and prevention about oral diseases like AIDS in mainly developing countries (Petersen, et.al, 2005, pp. 661-669). Another healthcare burden is malaria and clinical studies have reported that in rural areas of Africa the HIV cases are growing because of increasing trends in malaria. The WHO has also reported that the inappropriate medicines and clinical tests increasing risk among patients since, the pathogens have become resistant to such treatments. For that reason, access to HIV-1 treatment and care, public healthcare examination and control programs should be seriously strengthened to manage with the latest actuality of communicable sickness control in Africa (Bate, et.al, 2008, p. e2132).

However, people are unaware with associated risks as well as they lack the information about its effectiveness, efficacy and proper usage which results in serious health conditions among young people (Evans-Brown & McVeigh, 2009, pp. 267-288). Tuberculosis (TB) is still considered as major healthcare issue and the possible reason for its spreading is related to the diabetes especially in low income and developing countries. Thus, healthcare professionals are concerned about its treatment in terms of testing the suspected individuals of diabetes, monitoring their glucose levels, providing clinical therapies in order to decrease the burden of disease (Moualeu, et.al, 2012, pp. 117-146).

Another threat to the health of young people of the UK is their following to wrong web information related to healthcare issues. In the United Kingdom different ethnic groups are living and most of them do not have knowledge about sexually transmitted disorders (Thomas, 2010, pp. 15-18).

Role of Health Organisations

In developing countries, the main issues related to healthcare are poverty and limited access to healthcare services. Thus, easy access with cost effective services should be the target in order to provide the healthcare services in developing countries.
