Introduction

Stairs that are located in the house are at a higher chance to be used more frequently. These stairs may be used to connect certain parts of the house and floors. Depending on the requirements the pre assembled stairs can be installed after the completion of them from the carpenter of joiner at the mill or workstation

Safety Precautions before installation of Stairs

The installation of stairs can be an easy task if they are preassembled. If the stairs are being made by the joiners then in that situation (the habitants or a person who is responsible for the installation of the job) the installation of the stairs can be a trouble free effort. However, this situation can be troublesome if some considerations are not being made accordingly before the installation of the stairs. Some of these considerations are as follows.

All the stairways should be open from all winders

In the measurement of the stairs it should be important to know that the dimensions of the landings of the stairs should be kept equal or can be greater than the breadth of the stairways.

All the landings of the stairs should be at a level and open from any steps in between the main up and down flight

All treads of the stairways should be made equal.

The ratio of the tread and riser should be observed before the installation so that it won't be a problem when going up and down the stairways

It is also important to see that if the handrails are all rounded and the surface is smooth.

Angle should also be measured in stairways. The angle should be between 20 to 55 degrees
