Introduction

Innovation is a process that includes the development of new ideas and values through the solutions, which meet the new inarticulate needs, requirements, or old market and customer needs in the value adding several new ways. Therefore, it will be fair to say that the innovation is an inevitable process to not just cater effectively with the needs of the individuals. However, the process is also important to create products and services that offer more convenience as an outcome of minimum efforts. Therefore, it is important that any industry always undergo the process not just to meet the current needs and requirements. However, the process is also important for the progress and the growth of the overall industry itself. Therefore, every industry is always on the lookout of introducing and implementing new idea for facilitating different tasks and activities. However, out of the many, the industry that has undoubtedly offered various new technological wonders to cater a wide range of human needs is the Mobile Manufacturing or Cellular Manufacturing Companies.

Discussion

Not a lot of people with disagree with the fact that a mobile or cell phone in itself is a very creative and useful innovation. The devices manufactured by the industry in the last decade or so have introduced a great deal of convenience and portability as opposed to the conventional landline telephones. This is undoubtedly the reason why these mobile phones were very commonly used mode of communication in a very short span of time. Therefore, many scientists, experts and creative minds must have realized then that these devices have the potential to serve a number of more applications (Duso, 2005, pp.258). Hence, since the invention of the very first cell phone, the mobile manufacturing industry has only developed and flourished thereby offering amazing and useful inventions one after another.

The most fundamental concept of the mobile phones includes demarcating the development of these devices, which involves wireless connection to the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). It will be fair to say that unless the scientists would not have explored the applications of transmission of speech via radio, this remarkable innovation would never have occurred. The Altai introduced by the AT&T Company was although an effective means of communication that was created for different purposes. However, for the figure shown below, it is obvious that the two pre-dominant limitations attached with this model were its wires and its weight (Lee, 1995, pp.100). These two imitations led to need of creating and innovating devices such as cell phones that are portable, wireless and easy to handle.
