Abstract

This paper will research how Information Technology could be used to assist with the Outsourcing of business in local and international market.

In the United States, the organizations and corporations started to plan the outsourcing of the jobs in a large quantity of the Information Technology (IT) to outside firms and companies. Most of these outsourced jobs will belong to the off shore organizations in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The corporate momentum and the media buzz around the off shoring and outsourcing of the Information Technology continues and displays no vital signs of subsiding.

A current professional of the Information Technology in the United States must consider the future in the Information Technology (IT), the outsourcing is a business and its trend should be fully understood and comprehended. The outsourcing of the IT can never be reversed in the foreseeable future at any cost and one should not feel immobilized to cope with the modifications in the technology and its business.

Recently, the role of information technology in the United States business grew significantly. Several years ago, Information Technology takes only a small percentage of the cost of any listed company, but right now, the amount of investment in this area directly affects the size of the bottom line. 

There are predictions of Information Technology (IT) greatly outsourcing of development does not exist in the study of the functions of printing the scrupulous are being outsourced today or in the coming times. In addition, no text on how outsourcing grows and develops and how it can be associated to the business or to the size of the organization is available.

This project's survey of various top-level professionals in the United States to evaluate what are outsourcing now and what is likely to outsource in the future next years. The results show that the areas of application development, application maintenance, maintenance of personal computers (PC), and maintenance of systems experience a strong growth. On the other hand the data center operations, systems development and telecommunications / LAN will experience a very vigorous growth and development.

Acquisition of equipment and project management will experience a slight and minor expansion. This growth will be led by what are now known as large Information Technology departments. These results have implications for IT professionals and companies in the United States and worldwide.
