Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology

Introduction

The current society is subject to constant transformations caused mainly by the introduction of emerging information technologies that change the way we deal also with the knowledge and forms of scientific production. It happens that some individuals adapt better and more quickly to technological changes; others adapt, but not so fast, we still have those who cannot adapt, which creates a certain “stress”. In reality, this “stress” caused by technology is not the lack of ability of human beings to adapt to changes and yes, poor structuring and dissemination of technology in society, both by governments and civil society, notably the lack of a systemic and strategic approach. For example, information technology represents a resource and a tool for academic research and renewal that benefits teachers, researchers and students and appropriate company (Goggin, 2012, pp.47-93).

Discussion

Technical progress is the answer to the ills of our society. This paper seeks to contribute to the debate on the likely advantages and disadvantages of technological innovations in different sectors of the complex social system, economic, everyday life and political sector that characterizes contemporary societies (Drucker, 2010, pp.110-173).

Since the phenomenon of “technology” became popular in the mid 00's, we have hill slowly started to kill the myth of the objective mechanical internet. Especially because we have seriously started to animate online. If the '90s was the decade when we plugged the network with information is 00s was the decade when we filled it with emotion. The early network a little tentative and shameful chatting has grown into a popular entertainment. More and more people are finding love, sex, intimacy or through the internet. Technology is of course just a “buzzword” - information technology has to some extent always been social. It has centered on something so basic as human communication. (Drucker, 2010, pp.110-173).

Ever since the machines began to replace happens during the 1800s and industrialization, we have compared our bodies with machinery. The machine's power deprived, not least, the man his monopoly on physics strength. An identity crisis partially solved by man and machine merged - they were one and the same. We may see how the male identity since industrialization has been shaped by machines - from cars to computers, from greasers to hackers. In the latter, the identity shifted from the biceps to the brain machine. The body is an appendage carrying around the “Processor”, like the shell of your phone.

2011, it is no longer the external technological developments (hardware) that have the greatest impact on our lives, but the interior - the software, the content. It has also meant far more dramatic changes, since the software both change and spread much more rapidly. It took at least 20 years of personal computer to reach into each one's home. It took Facebook a few years. It can now launch a social media phenomenon that next year received hundreds of millions of members and completely changed the conditions of our social ...
