In order to explain the process perspective, first we must understand that what is meant by a “process” in an organizational context. Process is the set of logically sequential tasks and subtasks, which the organization uses for converting its inputs into outputs (Chen, 2000). The process is always defined with clear beginnings and endings, inputs and outputs, and the tasks and subtasks it will use. The process can be considered as the combination of activities which add the value to business. Some examples of the business processes are payroll, manufacturing, and customer order fulfillment.

Process Perspective

Business Process perspective refers to the concept, when management considers the organizational picture and then decides that how they should work in order to achieve ideal objectives. The managerial authorities determine the ideal way of working, and deploy the means of technology and cultural changes in order to implement the ideal processes.

Process perspective can be defined as thinking in terms of a largest picture. For example, to determine that, how the particular process influences the other processes executing outside or inside the organization. It involves the evaluation of inputs and outputs of the process and the way, the processes communicate with each other.

The process perspective also includes various managerial decisions, such as how the company must modify, add or remove business processes? What shall be the communication strategy of the organization? And how the organizations shall evolve the processes in order to continue progress?

Advantages of Process Perspective

The process perspective helps the management in optimizing the business processes and in controlling the communication between the processes. As the perspective provides with the comprehensive picture of organizational processes, the risk of duplication reduces.

Advantages of Mobile Workforce Management

Today, every one remains connected with the help of mobile phones, laptops, tablets and other smart handheld devices. Using these devices, the managers are able to connect with the remote or mobile employees easily; they can convey any message to the employees without waiting for the official hours. As the large number of mobile employees will be working for the organization round the clock, there is high probability of increasing organizational profits.

The main advantage of having mobile workforce is the enhanced size of the employee team. It is easy to lead a large mobile workforce team as compared to the in house workers (Gargiulo, 2011). The time consumption is lesser in mobile workforce management as compared to traditional one, thus the managers get more time to design strategies for the business. For example, they can share goals and targets with the mobile workforce quickly using online resources, instead of conducting a physical meeting.
