Introduction

We live today in a world that is increasingly complex and permeated by an abundance of information. Advances in science, technology and innovation give us a sense that the only constant thing is, paradoxically, the continuous changes.

Strategy for information is usually defined as the sum of information strategy, information system, and information technology strategy (Teubner and Mocker, 2005).
