Introduction

Today organizations are realizing the importance of information and knowledge; this is why they are taking various measures to effectively use that information and knowledge. In an environment where uncertainty is the only certain thing, one sure source of being competitive is “Information and Knowledge” success of an organization depends on the knowledge and information management. This paper is all about evaluation about how information and knowledge is collected, stored, formatted, and retrieved in Golden Rose Company and recommendations will be made accordingly (Browne, 2002, 625). At Golden rose company the information and knowledge is managed by using OneNote and large shared work book, it works well but not that efficient since its customers are increasing similarly the work is also increasing. It is working good for Golden rose company because it has built in search, it stores centrally, and functionally one not integrates office screenshots, and documents links to the external source. The benefit is that this application is used by everyone without as such training. However it is not that secured.

Question 1

In Golden Rose Company information is collected information through customers in form of feedbacks and suggestions through forms available on the purchasing place. The form usually includes Name, contact numbers address, method of payment, suggestions box, views about quality, etc. on the other hand this information is formatted by employees in form of numbers ranging from 1 to 5 so that this valuable knowledge could be converted into valuable knowledge to the Golden Rose company for future and effective developments. Moreover this information is stored in intangible files and stored on the computer. The data is retrieved from those computer files for further evaluations (Argyris, 2010, 7).

Golden Rose Company should start a knowledge base within in the company ...
