Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to identify the ways through which the nurses manage the infection control and prevention. The paper also describes different ways which are used by the nurses for the delivery of compassion care and communication with the patients suffering from diarrhea Clostridium Difficile. The paper is the basic description of the infection control and prevention and the ways adopted by nurses to avoid cross-communication.

Discussion

The main aim of the nurses is to provide care and compassion to the nurses. Nurses have always been busy to provide the care and compassion to the patients. The different institutes of health care are identifying various ways which could be helpful for the prevention of nurses and providing care to the nurses. Nurses are always helpful in providing the better treatment and care to the patients. Thus, the role of nurses is also very helpful in the prevention of different diseases like infections. The importance of the compassionate care by nurses has gained an utmost importance. Different health institutes are urging the nurses to place their focus on the compassionate care (Aledort, 1996, p. 225). The main concern is that the patients should receive the utmost care and the level of treatment to them should be very effective and efficient.

Infection Control and Prevention

Infection control and prevention is mainly considered to be the clinical application of microbiology to be brought into practice. There are different causes of infection and disease including the prisons, bacteria, viruses and fungi. Thus, these causes can result to the increase of different infections including skin, urinary tract, bone, wound, blood and respiratory infections. However, it cannot be said that the infections are transmissible but there are some infections which are transmissible in nature including the norovirus, C. difficile and influenza (Lupia, 2006, p. 23). Thus, it is necessary that the health practitioners should have the knowledge about the reasons of occurrence of these infections and the ways through which the different micro-organisms act. It is necessary for the nurses that they should have the complete knowledge of the infection control and prevention and providing care should be their primary goal (Butler, 2003, p. 549).
